Bryan + Rose | Engagement Session at Erwin Park in Mckinney, Tx

Before every engagement session, I’m typically stalking the weather app all day. On this particular day I did the same and everything was completely clear up to the moment I left for Erwin Park. Halfway there, the sky darkens and teenie tiny drops of water begin to fall every second or so. I, only mildly panicking, text Rose to see how the rain is in Mckinney. Immediately it begins POURING. After some discussion we decide to head to the park anyway and see if it clears out. The rain slows and as we enter the park there is a HUGE rainbow! I thought, “Man I hope that stays around long enough for pictures!” Sure enough it did and WOULD YOU JUST LOOK AT IT! So gorgeous!

This is a great example that sometimes it’s better to ride out the storm then cancel at the first sign of rain. It ended up being the most gorgeous session! I can’t wait to photograph these two again on their wedding day! I know it will be a blast just like this session!
