A Southfork Ranch Wedding | Boots & Mandy

THIS was a cool wedding! If you didn’t know this already, and I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t know until I googled it, Southfork Ranch was part of the TV set for the show Dallas. So you could say I was pretty stoked to be shooting a wedding here! Y’all it did NOT disappoint. We literally walked in as they were finishing up a tour, so I got to catch the last half of the tour as I set up. Even though the show was before my time, It was pretty cool to hear about all the history there. Pair that with how absolutely beautiful the Ewing Mansion was, the llamas and other animals, and the gorgeous weather we had, it was a near perfect day!

Boots and Mandy were a blast to work with! You can see their fun personalities in these photos, especially when you get to the reception! Surprisingly, no one from the wedding was actually from Dallas, Tx! They just LOVED the show Dallas, and primarily, Boot’s hero J.R. I totally see why the wanted to have a wedding at the Ewing Mansion and I hope to shoot here again!
