NORTH CAROLINA INTIMATE WOODED WEDDING | NEW BERN NORTH CAROLINA WEDDINGS | DALLAS TEXAS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | DESTINATION WEDDING

We road tripped to New Bern, North Carolina for my baby brother Jake and new sister Rhonda’s wedding day! Obviously we love weddings ALWAYS, but this one in particular held en even more special place in my heart. Jake and I have had our ups and downs as many siblings do, but honestly, he’s always been the one constant best friend in my life. We are always there for each other without judgement, ridicule, or harshness. When he told me he met the love of his life while they were stationed in Qatar serving for the Marines, I was so excited!

Flash forward to Christmas time. Both of them came to Texas to spend the holidays with us. Jake and I always go on a brother sister coffee date where we usually spend hours catching up. We spent about an hour catching up before he told me all about how he loved Rhonda. How he was ready to ask her to marry him. SO we drove on over to the jewelry store, he picked out a ring, and he planned a proposal! She OBVIOUSLY said yes…:P and the rest is history! They legally tied the knot in January and then planned this sweet intimate wedding!

The wedding day was BEYOND perfect. I cried a ton (of course) and gushed over having a sister, who is carrying my sweet baby niece Olivia as well!

Congratulations Jake and Rhonda. I love you both SO SO much and cannot wait to watch you become parents later this year! Your love inspires me!
