If you have questions about us, how we work, etc. This is the blog post for you! This is our FAQs post where we will answer all the things.

1. How long have you been photographers?

We have both dabbled in photography off and on for over 10 years! We ran separate businesses for a while, and then merged in January of 2017 to create Gingersnap Studios. For more about us and how we got started checkout this blogpost!

2. What equipment do you use?

Both of us shoot on the Nikon D750. We have 2 cameras each! Our favorite lenses are the Sigma Art 35 1.4, Sigma Art 50 1.4, Sigma Art 85 1.4, and the Sigma Art 135 1.8

3. Where are you located?

We are based out of Sherman/Denison. Our Studio is located on Main street in Denison. 

4. Can I see a full wedding or family session gallery?

ABSOLUTELY! It’s so important to check out entire galleries when looking for a photographer so you can see more than just what is highlighted on the blog or on social media. Email us and we will send one over asap!

5. How many photographers are included in my wedding day or family session?

We shoot EVERY wedding together, so 2! For family sessions 99.9% of the time it's both of us! Every now and then one of us has something come up and the other will shoot it solo.

6. Are you insured?

YES YES YES! Always yes!

7. Do you edit all of the photos?

We choose the absolute best of the best and edit those!

8. What is your image turn around time?

For weddings, The blog with 80-100 photos will go up the Tuesday after your wedding day. The rest will be delivered in 4-6 weeks from your wedding day!
For family sessions the blog with 10-15 photos goes up the week following your session and the rest are delivered within 2 weeks of your session.

9. Can I share my pictures on social media?

Absolutely! We love when you tag us too!

10. Do you have wedding vendors you love to work with?

We do! We have worked with SO many different vendors and have compiled a list!

11. How do I book?

We require a 50% non refundable deposit at booking. This holds your date to ensure we don’t book anyone else.

12. Can we meet before the wedding day?


Yes please!! We try our best to meet up for coffee with all of our couples. We also highly encourage engagement sessions so we can get to know each other better that way! Or at the very least we can do a video chat!

13. How and when do we book our session?


Just shoot us an email and we will get you on the calendar!
